Nausheen UPSC topper took her first attempt in 2019 UPSC prelims cleared but during Covid lockdown but did not make it to the UPSC main exam and then she tried again and she faced a lot of challenges in her next attempts and she did not pass the first attempt in her 3rd attempt which led to depression.
But her parents supported her and encouraged her to keep going. Finally, on her 4th attempt, she made All India Rank 9 in UPSC 2023 and she serves as a reminder of the importance of hard work.

Personal Life of IAS Nausheen
Nausheen was born and brought up in Gorakhpur, Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh and her education journey began at Ratna Memorial Primary School in Gorakhpur. Nausheen’s father plays an important role in Nausheen’s personal life as an Assistant Engineer in a public sector company, providing an environment that supports her daughter’s UPSC journey and on the other hand her mother is a homemaker. Her elder brother is an employee of Union Bank of India and Nausheen’s sister is an employee of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
Our joy is indescribable, it’s hard to explain. Up till now, we were reading interviews of girls who got 1st position , 2nd position , 3rd position , 9th position and 30th position in the UPSC. Now we have a daughter who got 9th rank in UPSC 2023.

Family Contributions in her Success
Nausheen is a 24 year old young girl whose success has been made possible by her entire family. She is the youngest among three siblings and she has started her studies from Gorakhpur, her father was sending her to Delhi to study and her father had full confidence that Nausheen would become a successful person one day. Her mother recalled that during her childhood, she would sit down to study and would not even remember if she had eaten or drunk. Even after the family went to bed, she would keep reading, so the family overall had faith in her and motivated her throughout the journey of her in UPSC Civil Services.

Nausheen is one of the 31 students who have qualified for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in the year 2023 from the residential coaching academy of Jamia millia Islamia (JMI- RCA) and she is among the top scorer of the exam has credited her coaching institute and her friends for making her dream a reality.
