Then after , he was admitted to Navodaya Vidyalaya in Buklana village for secondary education Class 9th to Class 10th.

After completing his primary and secondary education in 2017, Pawan Kumar started his higher education at the University of Allahabad, and there he studied Geography and Political Science for his bachelor’s degree and he decided to pursue a career in public civil service and decided to move to Delhi to prepare.

During the IAS Preparation he was in Delhi in Mukherjee Nagar, famous for its competitive coaching institutes. Here he lived for 2- 2.5 years and engaged in thorough preparation and in mid of his preparation Pawan Kumar was under financial pressure but he showed resourcefulness and adaptability in using online resources to supplement his studies for IAS Preparation.
